HBO MAX's TOKYO VICE
- Soji Arai has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred in the first season of AppleTV+'s Pachinko. He will next be seen in Amazon's upcoming limited series Dead Ringers.
- He will play Shingo, Emi's (Rinko Kikuchi) lover and former colleague at the Meicho. A single parent with a young son, Shingo is now an editor at a prestigious Tokyo weekly. An excellent journalist, he and Emi share a passion for the work. But as the season rolls on, their work and family lives come into conflict and Shingo and Emi are forced to make hard choices about what they value most in their lives.
THE CW's ALL AMERICAN
- Darone Okolie and Tre Hale have landed recurring roles on the drama's fifth season. Okolie currently recurs on HBO's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty and Disney+'s upcoming drama The Crossover. Hale stars in AppleTV+'s upcoming comedy Platonic.
- Okolie will play Sal Dominguez, a former high school linebacker with a past. He is a personal trainer at a gym who becomes important to Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling).
- Hale will play Kai, a potential GAU recruit chasing an old dream.
PARAMOUNT+'s BASS REEVES
- Demi Singleton will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring David Oyelowo. She previously starred in the second season of MGM+'s Godfather of Harlem and in the 2021 feature film King Richard.
- She will play Sally, Bass (Oyelowo) and Jennie's (Lauren E. Banks) precocious daughter.
