NBC's ST. DENIS MEDICAL
- Wendi McLendon-Covey will star in the comedy pilot written by Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin. She currently stars in and executive produces ABC's The Goldbergs, which will conclude its run after ten seasons in May.
- She will play Joyce, the Executive Director of St. Denis Medical and former oncological surgeon with big dreams for the future of St. Denis - dreams not currently being realized...
CBS' JUMPSTART
- Terry Crews will play the male lead in the comedy pilot written by Wayne Conley based on the long-running comic strip. He previously starred for four seasons in UPN/The CW's Everybody Hates Chris, three seasons in TBS' Are We There Yet? and eight seasons in FOX/NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He currently hosts NBC's America's Got Talent as well as its spinoffs America's Got Talent: Champions and America's Got Talent: Extreme.
- He will play Joseph L. Cobb, a devoted husband, son, father and Philadelphia police officer. He is also a proud Black man and often feels pressured to be flawless in each of his roles, especially in light of controversies surrounding cops. He is a charming and exuberant role model in his community. Joe loves his wife and family, but does come up short in hilarious and endearing ways that keep audiences cheering for him.
