The drama stars Freddie Highmore, Richard Schiff, Hill Harper, Fiona Gubelmann, Will Yun Lee, Christina Chang, Paige Spara, Bria Samoné Henderson, Noah Galvin and Brandon Larracuente.
David Shore created the drama and serves as co-showrunner alongside Liz Friedman. They executive produce with Highmore, Daniel Dae Kim, Erin Gunn, Thomas L. Moran, David Hoselton, Peter Blake, Jessica Grasl, Garrett Lerner, Mike Listo, Shawn Williamson, David Kim and Sebastian Lee. Sony Pictures Television, ABC Signature, Shore Z Productions and 3AD produce.
Earlier this year, the drama produced a backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff, The Good Lawyer, starring Kennedy McMann and Felicity Huffman. The broadcast network has not yet made a final decision on the future of that proposed series.
The Good Doctor will release its sixth season finale on Monday, May 1 at 10/9c.
