AppleTV+ has today decided to cancel its original drama series Truth Be Told after three seasons. The drama finished its 28-episode run on March 24, 2023.
The drama's third season starred Octavia Spencer, Gabrielle Union, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, David Lyons, Andre Royo, Merle Dandridge, Ron Cephas Jones, Katherine LaNasa, Mychala Lee and Tami Roman.
Nichelle Tramble Spellman created the drama, with Maisha Closson serving as showrunner for the third season. They executive produced with Spencer, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Mikkel Nørgaard and Brian Clisham. Endeavor Content, Chernin Entertainment, Hello Sunshine, Orit Entertainment and The 51 produced.
