Netflix Cancels 'Freeridge' After One Season

Netflix has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Freeridge - a spinoff of On My Block - after one season. The first and now only season was released on February 2, 2023.

The comedy starred Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Bryana Salaz, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Ciara Riley and Peggy Blow. 

Lauren Iungerich, Jamie Uyeshiro, Eddie Gonzalez, Jeremy Haft and Jamie Dooner created the comedy. Crazy Cat Lady Entertainment produced in association with Netflix.

While Freeridge only produced 8 episodes overall, its predecessor On My Block ran for four seasons on the streaming service.
