STARZ's POWER BOOK III: RAISING KANAN
- Wendell Pierce and Erika Woods have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Pierce currently stars in Amazon's Jack Ryan, which has been renewed for a fourth and final season. Woods previously guest starred on CBS' Blue Bloods and NBC's The Blacklist.
- Pierce will play Ishmael "Snaps" Henry, a living legend on the street, former bank robber, and OG dealer who now acts as a mentor and financier for up-and-comers like Kanan (MeKai Curtis).
- Woods will play Stephanie "Pop" Henry, Snaps' partner and wife.
FX's ALIEN
- Sydney Chandler has scored a lead role on the upcoming drama developed by Noah Hawley based on the film franchise of the same name. She previously starred in the FX limited series Pistol. She will next be seen in AppleTV+'s upcoming drama Sugar starring Colin Farrell.
- No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
