Sue Tenney developed the drama based on the novels by Robyn Carr, with Patrick Sean Smith succeeding as showrunner starting with the fifth season. Tenney, Carr and Smith executive produce with Christopher E. Perry, Roma Roth, Jocelyn Freid and Amy Palmer Robertson.
