The network released the following statement on the cancellation: "I Love That for You has completed its run on Showtime. We want to thank Vanessa, Jeremy and Jessi, along with the incredible cast and crew for their hard work and wish them the best going forward."
The comedy starred Vanessa Bayer, Molly Shannon, Paul James, Ayden Mayeri, Matt Rogers, Punam Patel and Jenifer Lewis.
Bayer co-created the comedy with Jeremy Beller. They executive produced with showrunner Jessi Klein, Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, Jordana Mollick, Allyce Ozarski and director Michael Showalter. Annapurna Television and Semi-Formal Productiosn produced.
