THE CW's ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING
- Peyton Alex Smith and Kelly Jenrette will not return as series regulars for the drama's upcoming third season. However, they are both expected to appear as recurring guest stars. Smith and Jenrette play Damon and Amara, respectively. Both have been series regulars since the series premiere in February 2022.
- Cast reductions were expected for the upcoming season as the studio needed to reduce costs in order for the network to renew it. Geffri Maya, Sylvester Powell, Netta Walker, Mitchell Edwards, Cory Hardrict and Rhoyle Ivy King will return as series regulars. However, Hardrict and King will appear in a reduced number of episodes. No update has been provided yet for Camille Hyde's future on the series.
NETFLIX's SWEET MAGNOLIAS
- Janet Hubert will appear in the drama's upcoming third season. She previously starred for three seasons in NBC's The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She also recurred on TBS' The Last O.G., Max's Love Life, FX's Pose and NBC's New Amsterdam.
- She will play Bev Decatur, Helen's (Heather Headley) mother. In a moment of crisis, Helen goes to Tampa to visit her mother, needing Bev's unique blend of humor, compassion, and tough love.
