Based on the novel by Zakiya Dalila Harris, editorial assistant Nella (Daniel) is tired of being the only Black girl at her company, so she's excited when Hazel (Murray) is hired. But as Hazel's star begins to rise, Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company.
In addition to Daniel and Murray, the drama stars Brittany Adebumola, Hunter Parrish, Bellamy Young, Eric McCormack and Garcelle Beauvais.
Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey serve as co-showrunners on the drama. They executive produce with Harris, Rashida Jones, Adam Fishbach, Tara Duncan, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey. Onyx Collective and Temple Hill Entertainment produce.
