CBS has today acquired the original Australian drama series NCIS: Sydney and set a fall premiere date for the first-ever international spinoff of the television franchise.
The 8-episode first season will launch stateside on Monday, November 13 at 10/9c. The series will premiere on Paramount+ Australia on Friday, November 10, with additional Paramount+ international markets to follow at a later date.
With rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific, a brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS agent and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multinational task force to keep naval crimes in check in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.
The drama stars Olivia Swann, Todd Lasance, Sean Sagar, Tuuli Narkle, Mavournee Hazel and William McInnes.
Morgan O'Neill created the drama. He executive produces with Sara Richardson and Sue Seeary. CBS Studios and Endemol Shine Australia produce.
