The 12-episode first season will launch on Thursday, October 19 with its first three episodes. Three new episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday until the season finale on November 9.
In this expansion of the 2016 animated short film Scavengers, the series follows several groups of survivors as they attempt to navigate a way off this strange planet where the laws of physics as we know them do not apply.
A surreal sci-fi animated series, the remaining crew of a damaged interstellar freighter ship find themselves stranded on a beautiful, yet unforgiving alien planet where they must survive long enough to escape or be rescued. As the survivors struggle to locate their downed ship and missing crewmates, their new home reveals a hostile world allowed to thrive without human interference.
In addition to Mani, Mosaku and Shawkat, the voice cast includes Pollyanna McIntosh, Sepideh Moafi and Dash Williams.
Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner created the series. They executive produce with Chris Prynoski. Sean Buckelew and James Merrill co-executive producer, with Benjy Brooke as supervising director and Vincent Tsui as director. Titmouse produces in association with Max.
