Two days ahead of its stateside debut, The CW has renewed the original comedy series Everyone Else Burns for a second season.
The comedy stars Simon Bird, Kate O'Flynn, Harry Connor and Amy James-Kelly.
Dillon Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor created the comedy. They executive produce with Tony Hernandez, Brooke Posch and Molly Seymour. Universal International Studios and Jax Media produce.
The 6-episode first season will premiere on The CW on Thursday, October 26 at 9:30/8:30c. The first season aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom earlier this year and was picked up for a second season in August. Now, The CW will officially serve as a co-producer on the series moving forward.
"Everyone Else Burns is a brilliant and bitingly funny series that is as much about family as it is about the end of days," said Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment, The CW Network. "There is truly no other comedy on television like it, and we are thrilled to work alongside the immensely talented writers and producers to bring the uniquely hilarious Lewis family to The CW for another season."
