Peacock Unveils Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'Dr. Death'

Peacock has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second installment of its original anthology drama series Dr. Death.

All 8 episodes of the second installment will be available on Thursday, December 21.

The new season follows "Miracle Man" Paolo Macchiarini, a charming surgeon renowned for his innovative operations. When investigative journalist Benita Alexander approaches him for a story, the line between personal and professional begins to blur, changing her life forever. As she learns how far Paolo will go to protect his secrets, a group of doctors halfway across the world make shocking discoveries of their own that call everything about Paolo into question.

The second installment stars Edgar Ramírez, Mandy Moore, Luke Kirby, Ashley Madekwe and Gustaf Hammarsten.

Ashley Michel Hoban serves as showrunner for the new season. She executive produces with Patrick Macmanus, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Taylor Latham, Aaron Hart, Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, Linda Gase and director Jennifer Morrison. Universal Content Productions, Escape Artists and Wondery produce.
