ABC has today decided to cancel its original drama series The Rookie: Feds after one season. The drama wrapped its first and now only season on May 2, 2023.
The drama starred Niecy Nash-Betts, Frankie Faison, James Lesure, Britt Robertson, Felix Solis and Kevin Zegers.
Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter created the drama. They executive produced with Nash-Betts, Nathan Fillion, Mark Gordon, Michelle Chapman, Bill Norcross and Corey Miller. Entertainment One, ABC Signature, Perfectman Pictures and Winterworks produced.
The drama was a spinoff of ABC's The Rookie, which has been renewed for a sixth season. The ratings for its 22-episode first season were modest. However, the broadcast network waited until the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes against the AMPTP before deciding if the drama was necessary for its truncated 2023-24 schedule.
