Peacock has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Ted - a prequel to the film franchise of the same name.
All 7 episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, January 11.
It's 1993, and Ted the bear's moment of fame has passed. He's now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, along with John's parents, Matty and Susan, and cousin Blaire. Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he's a loyal pal who's always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
The comedy stars Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, Giorgia Whigham and Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted.
MacFarlane created the series, with Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh serving as showrunners. All three executive produce with Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark and Aimee Carlson. Universal Content Productions, Fuzzy Door Productions and MRC Television produce.
