AMC Shares Premiere Date for Limited Series 'The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live' Starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira

During tonight's series finale of Fear the Walking Dead, AMC announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live - featuring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprising their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne, respectively.

The 6-episode limited series will launch on Sunday, February 25 at 9/8c.

The series presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead... and ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they've ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive - or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?

In addition to Lincoln and Gurira, the series stars Pollyanna McIntosh, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Matt Jeffries and Terry O'Quinn.

Scott M. Gimple developed the series. He executive produces with Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath. Bert and Bertie direct the premiere. AMC Studios produces.
