The series will detail the story of how on the night of Muhammad Ali's 1970 defeat of Jerry Quarry, which came after he was banned from boxing for refusing to enter the military draft, hundreds of guests at an after-party were robbed at gunpoint, becoming one of the largest armed robberies the country has ever seen.
Shaye Ogbonna developed the series and will serve as co-showrunner alongside Jason Horwitch. They will executive produce with Hart, Will Packer, Sabrina Wind, Bryan Smiley, Mike Stein, Conal Byrne, Will Pearson, Carrie Lieberman, Jeff Keating, Lars Jacobson and director Craig Brewer. Tiffany Brown and Kenny Burns will co-executive produce. Universal Television, Will Packer Media, Hartbeat Productions and Doghouse Pictures will produce.
