Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Sexy Beast based on the 2000 feature film.
The 8-episode first season will debut on Thursday, January 25.
The prequel series explores the origins of Gal and Don's complicated relationship as they find themselves descending into the seductive madness of the London criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s, while Gal's budding relationship with Deedee threatens everything in their world.
The drama stars James McArdle, Emun Elliott, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Moyer, Sarah Greene, Eliza Bennett, Clea Martin, Nicholas Nunn, Peter Ferdinando, John Dagleish, Robbie Gee, Paul Kaye, Lex Shrapnel, Cally Lawrence, David Kennedy, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Ralph Brown, Nitin Ganatra and Alice Bailey Johnson.
