Starz Cancels 'Shining Vale' After Two Seasons

Starz has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Shining Vale after two seasons. Moreover, the premium cable network will remove the comedy's two seasons from its library by the end of the year.

The comedy starred Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Gus Birney, Dylan Gage, Merrin Dungey and Mira Sorvino.

Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan created the comedy. They executive produced with Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, Clelia Mountford and Melanie Frankel. Warner Bros. Television, Lionsgate Television, Kapital Entertainment, Other Shoe Productions and Merman produced.

The comedy wrapped its 16-episode run on December 1, 2023. Warner Bros. is expected to shop the series to other outlets.
