Kelvin Yu developed the series based on the graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang. They executive produced with Destin Daniel Cretton, Melvin Mar, Jake Kasdan, Erin O'Malley and Asher Goldstein. Disney Branded Television, 20th Television, Family Owned and The Detective Agency produced.
The cancellation came after the options on the cast expired yesterday. Despite that, 20th Television is still expected to shop the series to other outlets.
