ABC Renews 'Abbott Elementary' for Season 4

During the network's presentation today at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, ABC renewed its original comedy series Abbott Elementary for a fourth season. The renewal comes just days after the comedy's super-sized third season premiere.

The comedy stars Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Brunson also created the comedy. She executive produces with Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Randall Einhorn and Brian Rubenstein. Warner Bros. Television, 20th Television, Delicious Non-Sequitur and Fifth Chance produce.

The comedy's third season launched on Wednesday, February 7 with a two-part premiere. The season will produce 14 episodes airing this spring. The fourth season will air during ABC's upcoming 2024-25 broadcast schedule. Today's renewal also comes nearly a month after Brunson won an Emmy Award for her lead performance.
