PARAMOUNT+'s HAPPY FACE
- Dennis Quaid will star opposite Annaleigh Ashford in the upcoming drama created by Jennifer Cacicio. He previously starred for two seasons in Crackle's The Art of More, two seasons in Sky Atlantic's Fortitude, one season of Amazon's Goliath, in the Max limited series Full Circle and in the Paramount+ limited series Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
- He will play Happy Face, an incarcerated serial killer and Melissa's (Ashford) once-beloved father. After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to force himself back into his daughter's life. In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed. Throughout, she discovers the impact her father had on his victims' families and must face a reckoning of her own identity.
APPLE TV+'s THE LAST FRONTIER
- Dallas Goldtooth and Tait Blum have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Jason Clarke. Goldtooth previously recurred on FX's Reservation Dogs and Peacock's Rutherford Falls. Blum recurred on USA's Shooter and AppleTV+'s For All Mankind.
- Goldtooth will play Hutch, the second-in-command US Marshal in the small Alaskan outpost.
- Blum will play Luke, Frank (Clarke) and Sarah's (Simone Kessell) son.
NBC's LOPEZ VS. LOPEZ
- Jaime Camil has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. He previously starred for five seasons in The CW's Jane the Virgin and two seasons in AppleTV+'s Schmigadoon. He will next appear in the third season of AppleTV+'s Acapulco, which debuts in May.
- He will play Josué Consuelos, a charming personal injury attorney whose face is on billboards all over Los Angeles. He sweeps Rosie (Selenis Leyva) off her feet with romantic baladas he plays for her on his Spanish guitar, leaving George (George Lopez) seething with jealousy.
NETFLIX's THE NIGHT AGENT
- Michael Malarkey and Keon Alexander are set as new series regulars on the drama's upcoming second season. Meanwhile, Navid Negahban and Rob Heaps will appear in recurring roles. Malarkey previously starred for three seasons in The CW's The Vampire Diaries and two seasons in History's Project Blue Book. Alexander starred for two seasons in Amazon's The Expanse. Negahban starred for one season in Showtime's Homeland and two seasons in FX's Legion. Heaps starred for two seasons in Bravo's Imposters and in Netflix's one-season drama Partner Track.
- Malarkey will play Markus, a military chief and loyal nephew to a dictator newly convicted of war crimes by the Hague.
- Alexander will play Javad, who oversees security for the Iranian Mission to the United Nations and monitors the loyalty of its employees.
- Negahban will play Abbas, the venerable U.N. Ambassador for Ira.
- Heaps will play Tomas, the elitist son of the aforementioned deposed dictator, who is keen on restoring his family to power.
