In addition to Moore and Galitzine, the series stars Tony Curran, Nicola Walker, Niamh Algar, Trine Dyrholm, Sean Gilder, Adrian Rawlins, Mark O'Halloran, Laurie Davidson, Samuel Blenkin, Jacob McCarthy, Tom Victor, Alice Grant, Amelia Gething, Mirren Mack, Rina Mahoney and Simon Russell Beale.
D.C. Moore developed the series based on the novel "The King's Assassin" by Benjamin Woolley. He executive produces with Julianne Moore, Liza Marshall, Sam Hoyle and director Oliver Hermanus. Sky Studios and Hera Pictures produce.
