NBC has today given a series order to the original drama series The Hunting Party created by JJ Bailey and Jake Coburn. The drama will join the broadcast network's upcoming 2024-25 schedule.
The high-concept crime procedural will center on a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that's not supposed to exist.
Bailey wrote the pilot and will serve as co-showrunner on the first season with Coburn. Universal Television will produce.
The broadcast network currently has three new series set for the 2024-25 season - with drama Dr. Wolf and comedy St. Denis Medical joining The Hunting Party. The network has also picked up three pilots - dramas Grosse Pointe Garden Society and Suits: LA as well as an untitled comedy starring Reba McEntire.
