- Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Chelsea Muirhead, Daniela Nieves and Jessy Yates will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Justina Machado. Bannon previously starred for three seasons in Epix/Max's Pennyworth. Usher currently stars in Amazon's The Boys, which returns for its fourth season in June. Muirhead starred in the third season of Max's Warrior. Nieves starred in Peacock's one-season drama Vampire Academy. Yates guest starred on ABC's Speechless and NBC's Law & Order: SVU.
- Bannon will play Tom Cole, a surgical resident. He is a witty and charming Brit who came to Miami for the excellent trauma program, but also for the lifestyle that Miami offers.
- Usher will play Sam Elijah, a third-year Emergency Medicine resident. Born and raised in the Florida panhandle, he is a thoughtful and altruistic doctor who, under his calm and considered demeanor, has a competitive edge.
- Muirhead will play Sophie Chan, a surgical intern. She is smart and capable and willing to endure anything in her quest to become a great surgeon.
- Nieves will play Camila Perez, a third-year medical student. Despite long hours and an endless workload, she always manages to stay optimistic.
- Yates will play Harper, a second-year Emergency Medicine resident and wheelchair user. She is the self-assured and introspective younger sister of Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald).
NETFLIX's HEARTSTOPPER
- Olivia Colman will not appear in the drama's upcoming third season. She has recurred throughout the drama's first two seasons - winning an Emmy Award in 2022 for her guest performance. Her exit comes as a result of scheduling conflicts with the potential to return should the series be renewed for a fourth season.
- Colman plays Sarah Nelson, Nick's (Kit Connor) mother.
