The limited series will detail the 16-year odyssey of Amanda Knox (Qualley), who was wrongfully convicted in Italy for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher. Knox spent almost four years incarcerated for the 2007 murder before being acquitted. She wrote about the experience in her 2013 memoir "Waiting to be Heard" and her story was depicted in the 2016 Netflix documentary Amanda Knox.
KJ Steinberg (Mistresses, This Is Us) created the series. She will executive produce with Qualley, Knox, Warren Littlefield, Monica Lewinsky, Lisa Harrison, Ann Johnson, Graham Littlefield and Chris Robinson. 20th Television, The Littlefield Company and Knox Robinson Productions will produce.
