Peacock Picks Up Dramedy 'The Miniature Wife' Starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen

Peacock has today given a series order to the original dramedy series The Miniature Wife starring Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Deadpool & Wolverine). An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.

Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzalez, the high-concept marital dramedy will examine the power (im)balances between spouses, Lindy (Banks) and Les (Macfadyen), who battle each other for supremacy after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis.

Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner created the series. They will executive produce with Banks, Macfadyen, Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer. Media Res will produce.
