AppleTV+'s Neuromancer; FX's Dying for Sex; Hulu's Orphan; Netflix's Wednesday; and Starz's The Hunting Wives.
HULU's ORPHAN
- Dulé Hill and Sarayu Blue will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass. Hill previously starred for seven seasons in NBC's The West Wing, eight seasons in USA's Psych, three seasons in USA's Suits and two seasons in ABC's The Wonder Years. Blue recently starred in the Amazon limited series Expats.
- Hill will play Brandon Drysdale, the detective investigating the criminal allegations made against the Barnetts. As he searches for justice amid the twists and turns of Natalia's (Imogen Faith Reid) case, he becomes more and more emotionally involved in her story.
- Blue will play Valika, the parent of one of the kids at Kristine's (Pompeo) daycare center. Elegant and sophisticated, Val is grateful for Kristine's work with her neurodivergent daughter, and over the course of the series, she becomes one of her close friends and confidants.
FX's DYING FOR SEX
- Sissy Spacek has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate. She has received six Academy Award nominations - winning in 1981 for her performance in the film Coal Miner's Daughter. She also starred for three seasons in Netflix's Bloodline and recurred on Hulu's Castle Rock and Amazon's Homecoming.
- She will play Gail, Molly's (Williams) mother who has a complicated history with her daughter.
STARZ's THE HUNTING WIVES
- Karen Rodriguez, Michael Aaron Milligan and Hunter Emery have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Malin Akerman and Brittany Snow. Rodriguez previously recurred on Starz's Power Book IV: Force and Amazon's Swarm. Milligan recurred on FOX's The Resident and Netflix's Outer Banks. Emery recurred on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black and Starz's Hightown.
- Rodriguez will play Sheriff's Deputy Wanda Salazar. Milligan will play Kyle. Emery will play Deputy Walter Flynn.
APPLE TV+'s NEUROMANCER
- Callum Turner will play the lead role in the upcoming drama developed by Graham Roland and JD Dillard. He recently starred in the AppleTV+ limited series Masters of the Air. He also stars in the Fantastic Beasts film franchise.
- He will play Case, a damaged, top-rung super-hacker thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.
NETFLIX's WEDNESDAY
- Thandiwe Newton has joined the cast of the dramedy's upcoming second season. She previously starred for four seasons in HBO's Westworld - winning an Emmy Award in 2018 for her supporting performance. She currently recurs on Netflix's Big Mouth.
- No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
