Paramount+ has today given an early renewal to its original drama series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for a fourth season. The streamer has also announced the upcoming fifth season of its original animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks will be its last.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is currently in production on its third season, which will debut in 2025. Additionally, Star Trek: Lower Decks is currently in production on its fifth and now final season, which will premiere this fall.

Similarly, Star Trek: Lower Decks has brought the laughs with an ample amount of heart to the franchise across its four seasons. We can't wait for audiences to see what is in store for the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos in this final season."
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia and Babs Olusanmokun, with special guest stars Paul Wesley and Carol Kane.
Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners. They executive produce with Alex Kurtzman, Jenny Lumet, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Davy Perez, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth. CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment produce.
Star Trek: Lower Decks stars Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O'Connell, Fred Tatasciore and Gillian Vigman.
