AppleTV+ Lands Drama '12 12 12' Starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan

AppleTV+ has today landed the original drama series 12 12 12 starring Anthony Mackie (Twisted Metal, Captain America: Brave New World) and Jamie Dornan (The Fall, The Tourist), with the intention of formalizing a series order shortly. The project was shopped to multiple outlets since January 2024.

The series will follow a disgraced FBI agent (Mackie) and a career criminal (Dornan) who play a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of it all is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich. The series will take place across three timelines - the 12 months prior to the heist, the 12 hours of the heist, and the 12 days after.

Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble created the series. They will executive produce with Mackie, Dornan, Jason Spire, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell. Skydance Television, Anonymous Content, Make It With Gravy Productions and Inspire Entertainment will produce.

Notably, Mackie and Dornan previously starred together in the 2019 feature film Synchronic.
