Zakiya Dalila Harris and Rashida Jones developed the drama based on Harris' novel of the same name. Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey served as showrunners for the first season. All four executive produced with Adam Fishbach, Tara Duncan, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.
