AppleTV+ Renews 'Presumed Innocent' for Season 2

AppleTV+ has today renewed its original drama series Presumed Innocent for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the first season finale on July 24, 2024.

The second season will revolve around a suspenseful, brand-new case. It's unclear if any of the actors from the first season will return for the new story.

In the first season, the drama stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, Kingston Rumi Southwick and Elizabeth Marvel.

David E. Kelley developed the drama based on the novel by Scott Turow. The showrunner will return as an executive producer on the second season alongside Gyllenhaal, J.J. Abrams and Dustin Thomason. Meanwhile, Turow will continue as a co-executive producer. Warner Bros. Television, Bad Robot Productions, David E. Kelley Productions and Nine Stories Productions produce.
