  • Halle Berry and Glenn Close will star opposite Kim Kardashian in the upcoming legal drama from Ryan Murphy. No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing. Moreover, Berry and Close will also executive produce the series.
  • Berry won an Academy Award in 2001 for her lead performance in Monster's Ball - making her the first (and still only) African American woman to win in the category. She has also received three Emmy Award nominations - winning in 2000 for her role in the HBO film Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. She also starred in the X-Men film franchise. She will next be seen in the upcoming Netflix film The Union opposite Mark Wahlberg, which debuts next month.
  • Close has received eight Academy Award nominations - in 1983 for The World According to Garp, in 1984 for The Big Chill, in 1985 for The Natural, in 1988 for Fatal Attraction, in 1989 for Dangerous Liaisons, in 2012 for Albert Nobbs, in 2019 for The Wife, and in 2021 for Hillbilly Elegy. Furthermore, she has received 14 Emmy Award nominations - winning three times for her role in the NBC film Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story and twice for her lead performance in FX's Damages. And finally, she has received four Tony Award nominations - winning three times for her acting in the plays The Real Thing and Death and the Maiden as well as the musical Sunset Boulevard.
