MGM+'s SPIDER-NOIR
  • Lamorne Morris and Brendan Gleeson have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Nicolas Cage. Morris previously starred for seven seasons in FOX's New Girl, two seasons in Hulu's Woke and in the fifth season of FX's Fargo. Gleeson won an Emmy Award in 2009 for his role in the HBO film Into the Storm and was nominated for an Academy Award in 2022 for his supporting performance in The Banshees of Inisherin.

A dedicated journalist trying to make it with the odds stacked against him as a Black professional in 1930s New York, he takes on riskier stories that no one else would touch in order to catch attention and a paycheck. He is willing to do whatever is necessary for his career.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character Gleeson will be playing. However, it's reported he will play the show's villain.
