During the Animation Domination panel at San Diego Comic-Con last night, FOX handed out an early renewal to its original animated comedy series Krapopolis for a fourth season. The series returns for its second season on Sunday, September 29 at 8:30/7:30c.
The comedy's voice cast features Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy, Duncan Trussell and Hannah Waddingham.
Dan Harmon created the comedy. He executive produces with showrunner Alex Rubens and Steve Levy. Fox Entertainment, Bento Box Entertainment and Harmonious Claptrap produce.
"For all our Krap-devotees, there was no better place to decree another season of Krapopolis than the annual San Diego Comic-Con fan fest and no one better to deliver the proclamation than our brilliant creator and executive producer, Dan Harmon," said Michael Thorn, President, FOX Television Network. "Dan and his team have created something special with this series, and now that Season Four is etched in stone, we'll be keeping those once-in-a-millennia laughs rolling on FOX Animation Domination."
The renewal comes a week after the comedy received one Emmy Award nomination in Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for Waddingham as Deliria in the episode "Big Man on Hippocampus."
