NBC Gives Series Orders to Dramas 'Suits: LA' and 'Grosse Pointe Garden Society'

NBC has today given series order to two original drama series - Suits: LA starring Stephen Amell and Grosse Pointe Garden Society starring Melissa Fumero. 






SUITS: LA - Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can't help but mix their personal and professional lives.

In addition to Amell, the drama stars Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis and Bryan Greenberg.

Guest stars in the pilot include Troy Winbush, Alice Lee, John Amos, Victoria Justice and Kevin Weisman.

Aaron Korsh wrote the pilot, which was directed by Victoria Mahoney. They executive produce with David Bartis, Doug Liman and Gene Klein. Universal Content Productions and Hypnotic produce.

GROSSE POINTE GARDEN SOCIETY - Four members of a suburban garden club, all from different walks of life, get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.

In addition to Fumero, the drama stars AnnaSophia Robb, Ben Rappaport, Matthew Davis, Alexander Hodge, Aja Naomi King, Nancy Travis and Felix Avitia.

Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs wrote the pilot, which was directed by Maggie Kiley. All three executive produce with Casey Kyber. Universal Television and Minnesota Logging Company produce.
