Paramount+ Cancels 'Halo' After Two Seasons

Paramount+ has today decided to cancel its original drama series Halo after two seasons. The drama completed its 17-episode run on March 21, 2024. The production companies behind the series are reportedly going to try shopping the series to other outlets.





A spokesperson for Paramount+ said, "We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work. We wish everyone the best going forward."

The drama starred Pablo Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O'Shaughnessy, Cristina Rodlo, Viktor Åkerblom, Tylan Bailey, Harry Lloyd and Joseph Morgan.

Kyle Killen and Steven Kane developed the drama based on the video game franchise, with David Wiener serving as showrunner. All three executive produced with Steven Spielberg, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O'Connor, Bonnie Ross, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, Scott Pennington and Gian Paolo Varani. Furthermore, Schreiber and McElhone served as producers. 343 Industries and Amblin Television produced.
