Hulu has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original drama series Tell Me Lies.
The 8-episode second season will debut on Wednesday, September 4 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday until the season finale on October 16.
The new season picks up as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer. Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic - which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen's friend group, as the fallout from the first season impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.
The drama stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder and Tom Ellis.
Meaghan Oppenheimer developed the drama based on the novel by Carola Lovering. The showrunner executive produces with Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, Matt Matruski, Laura Lewis, Stephanie Noonan, Shannon Gibson and Sam Schlaifer. 20th Television, Belletrist Productions and Rebelle Media produce.
