HBO Unveils Premiere Date for Limited Series 'The Penguin' Starring Colin Farrell

During the show's panel today at San Diego Comic-Con, HBO announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series The Penguin.







The 8-episode limited series will premiere Thursday, September 19 at 9/8c.

The series continues filmmaker Matt Reeves' The Batman epic crime saga that began with the 2022 feature film The Batman. The series centers on Oz Cobb, with Colin Farrell returning as the character.

In addition to Farrell, the series stars Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O'Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Carmen Ejogo and Theo Rossi.

Lauren LeFranc serves as showrunner on the limited series. She executive produces with Reeves, Farrell, Dylan Clark, Bill Carraro, Daniel Pipski and director Craig Zobel. Warner Bros. Television, DC Studios, 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions produce.
