Disney+ Cancels 'The Acolyte' After One Season

Disney+ has today decided to cancel its original drama series The Acolyte after one season. The Star Wars series completed its 8-episode first and only season on July 16, 2024.

The drama starred Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Rebecca Henderson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, Margarita Levieva, Harry Trevaldwyn and David Harewood.

Leslye Headland created the drama. She executive produced with Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jason Micallef and Jeff F. King. LucasFilm produced.
