Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original drama series Lioness.
The 8-episode second season will launch on Sunday, October 27 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Sunday.
As the CIA's fight against terror moves closer to home, Joe, Kaitlyn and Byron enlist a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.
The drama stars Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, Hannah Love Lanier, with Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
Taylor Sheridan created the drama. He executive produces with Saldaña, Kidman, Wagner, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox. MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, Blossom Films and Bosque Ranch Productions produce.
