NETFLIX's DEATH BY LIGHTNING
- Archie Fisher, Barry Shabaka Henley, Željko Ivanek, Kyle Soller, Ben Miles, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Shaun Parkes and Alistair Petrie have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Michael Shannon, Matthew Macfadyen, Nick Offerman and Betty Gilpin.
- Fisher will play Joe Brown. Fisher currently stars in BBC Three's Boarders, which has been renewed for a second season. He will next appear in the feature film Last Days.
- Henley will play Senator Blanche Bruce. Henley previously starred for five seasons in CBS' Bob Hearts Abishola. He will next star in Netflix's upcoming drama Forever.
- Ivanek will play Dr. Doctor Bliss. Ivanek currently stars in AMC's The Walking Dead: Dead City, which has been renewed for a second season. He won an Emmy Award in 2008 for his supporting role on FX's Damages.
- Soller will play Robert Todd Lincoln. Soller currently stars in Disney+'s Andor, which has been renewed for a second season.
- Miles will play George Scoville. Miles starred in the first season of Netflix's The Crown, for two seasons in BBC One's The Capture and in the first season of AppleTV+'s Hijack.
- Curtis-Hall will play Frederick Douglass. Curtis-Hall currently stars in Netflix's The Recruit, which has been renewed for a second season. He also starred in the FX limited Justified: City Primeval.
- Parkes will play Dr. Charles Purvis. Parkes recurred on Netflix's Lost in Space and starred in the ITV limited series The Suspect.
- Petrie will play John Sherman. Petrie currently stars in Amazon's The Night Manager, which has been renewed for its second and third seasons. He also starred for four seasons in Netflix's Sex Education and recurred on AMC's The Terror.
