ABC's Grey's Anatomy & Shifting Gears; Amazon's The Boys; AppleTV+'s For All Mankind; MGM+'s The Institute; and NBC's Happy's Place.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
- Sophia Bush has landed a recurring role on the drama's 21st season. She previously starred for nine seasons in The WB/The CW's One Tree Hill and four seasons in NBC's Chicago P.D.
- She will play Dr. Cass Beckman, an amiable, fun and a little messy around the edges trauma surgeon at Seattle Presbyterian whose husband David Beckman is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan.
MGM+'s THE INSTITUTE
- Brendan Beiser, Mary Walsh and Jordan Alexander have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Ben Barnes and Mary-Louise Parker. Beiser previously starred for two seasons in CBC's Pretty Hard Cases. Walsh starred for two seasons in CBC Gem's Broad Appeal: Living with E's. Alexander starred for two seasons in Max's Gossip Girl.
- Beiser will play Norbert Hollister, owner of the town's only hotel.
- Walsh will recur as Annie, a colorful and paranoid local.
- Alexander will recur as Kate, a local journalist who knows there's more to The Institute than meets the eye.
APPLE TV+'s FOR ALL MANKIND
- Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz and Ines Asserson are set as new series regulars on the drama's upcoming fifth season. Kaufman currently stars in Amazon's The Summer I Turned Pretty, which has been renewed for a third season. Cruz starred in the 2023 film Bottoms and appears in the upcoming third season of Max's The Sex Lives of College Girls. Asserson starred for two seasons in the German drama Heirs of the Night.
- Kaufman will play Alex Poletov Baldwin, Kelly's (Cynthy Wu) and Ed's (Joel Kinnaman) grandson.
- Cruz will play Lily Dale, the youngest daughter of Miles (Toby Kebbell) and Amanda Dale (Shannon Lucio).
- Asserson will play A.J. Jarrett, a U.S. Marine training for a space mission.
ABC's SHIFTING GEARS
- Seann William Scott has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming comedy starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings. He previously starred in the third season of FOX's Lethal Weapon and for two seasons in FOX's Welcome to Flatch.
- He will play Gabriel, a family friend of Matt (Allen) and Riley (Dennings) who works in the shop with Matt.
AMAZON's THE BOYS
- Mason Dye will appear in the drama's upcoming fifth and final season - with an option to reprise the role in the upcoming prequel Vought Rising. He previously recurred on Netflix's Stranger Things, Amazon's Bosch and MTV's Finding Carter.
- He will play Bombsight, the third oldest known supe in history who was active in the 1950s.
NBC's HAPPY'S PLACE
- Elizabeth Alderfer has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Reba McEntire. She previously starred for two seasons in CBS' United States of Al and recurred on NBC/Peacock's A.P. Bio.
- She will play Gracie, Bobbie's (McEntire) daughter. Like her mother, she is no-nonsense and somewhat tough. She is in the military and has been deployed overseas. She has just gone on leave and is returning home to Knoxville to surprise her mother, only to be surprised herself to discover that she now has an aunt that she never knew she had.
