During the Marvel Fanfare panel today at New York Comic Con, Disney+ announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Daredevil: Born Again starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio.
The 9-episode first season will premiere on Tuesday, March 4. It's currently unclear if the drama will be released as a binge or weekly. The drama has already been renewed for a second season.
The drama follows Matt Murdock's (Cox) quest for justice, which spans his daytime (and legal) efforts via his firm and nighttime crime-fighting through his heigthened abilities as Daredevil. Meanwhile, former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D'Onofrio) pursues his own political aspiration in the city. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
In addition to Cox and D'Onofrio, the drama stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal.
Dario Scardapane serves as showrunner, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directing. All three executive produce with Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord, Matthew Corman and Sana Amanat. Marvel Studios produces.
