Disney+ and Hulu have today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second installment of their original anthology drama series Goosebumps.
All 8 episodes of the second season - titled Goosebumps: The Vanishing - will be available on both streaming services on Friday, January 10.
The season begins when twins Cece and Devin Brewer are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad. A threat is stirring, and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Cece, Devin and their friends - Alex, CJ and Frankie - find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.
Based on the book series by R.L. Stine, the new season draws on elements from "Stay Out of the Basement," "The Haunted Car," "Monster Blood," "The Girl Who Cried Monster," "The Ghost Next Door," "Welcome to Camp Nightmare" and more!
The second installment stars David Schwimmer, Ana Ortiz, Jayden Bartels, Sam McCarthy, Elijah M. Cooper, Galilea La Salvia, Francesca Noel and Stony Blyden.
Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman developed the series, with Hilary Winston as showrunner. All three executive produce with Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O'Malley, Karl Frankenfield and James Eagan. Sony Pictures Television and Scholastic Entertainment produce.
