The series pickup is the latest expansion of Fogelman's creative output on Hulu. He is currently an executive producer on Only Murders in the Building, which is currently airing its fourth season and has already been renewed for a fifth. He also created the upcoming drama Paradise reuniting with star Sterling K. Brown.
The new series does not currently have a title or official premise. Reportedly, the sprawling drama will be set inside the world of the NFL with a generational family component. The project has closed a deal to be produced in coordination with the NFL.
Fogelman will executive produce the drama with Jess Rosenthal, David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold and Jason T. Reed. 20th Television, Rhode Island Ave. Productions and Skydance Sports will produce.
