Peacock has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Laid starring Stephanie Hsu.
All 8 episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, December 19.
A woman (Hsu) finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward. Laid is a f*cked up rom-com where the answer to "why can't I find love, is there something wrong with me?" is a resounding "Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you."
In addition to Hsu, the comedy stars Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez.
Guest stars include Andre Hyland, Olivia Holt, David Denman, Finneas O'Connell, Chloe Fineman, Ettore "Big E" Ewen and John Early.
Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna created the comedy. They executive produce with Hsu, John Davis, John Fox, Jennifer Carreras, Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher and Liz Watts. Universal Television, All3Media International, Fierce Baby Productions, Davis Entertainment and Porchlight Films produce.
