Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series Missing You starring Rosalind Eleazar.
All five episodes of the limited series will be available on Wednesday, January 1.
Based on the novel by Harlan Coben, the series focuses on Kat Donovan (Eleazar), a detective specializing in Missing Persons. Eleven years ago, her fiancé Josh, the love of her life, vanished without a trace, and she hasn't heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh's unexpected reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father's murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
In addition to Eleazar, the series stars Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner, Marc Warren, Samantha Spiro, Matt Jay-Willis, Rudi Dharmalingam and James Nesbitt.
Coben created the series, with Victoria Asare-Archer serving as head writer. They executive produce with Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee and Danny Brocklehurst. Nimer Rashed and Isher Sahota direct. Quay Street Productions and Final Twist Productions produce in association with Netflix.
