Showtime has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of its original drama series Yellowjackets.
The 10-episode third season will debut with its first two episodes on Friday, February 14 on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers. The season will make its linear debut on Sunday, February 16.
Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, the third season will pick up in the aftermath of the dramatic season two finale.
The drama stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie NĂ©lisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins and Simone Kessell.
Elijah Wood will reprise his recurring guest star role. New guest stars include Hilary Swank and Joel McHale.
Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the drama. They serve as co-showrunners alongside Jonathan Lisco. All three executive produce with Drew Comins, Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Brad Van Arragon. Lionsgate Television produces.
